“The NSW Government is reviewing the Combat Sports Act 2008 and is interested in receiving comments on the proposed reforms from people working in or having an interest in combat sports in NSW.”
This is a fantastic opportunity for those involved in the sport both here in NSW interstate to have their say in the proposed changes to the act. I encourage anyone who has the time and is interested in having a say to firstly read the discussion paper thoroughly first, then complete the survey.
Appropriate stakeholders weren’t given the opportunity to have their say when the act was changed to include Muaythai as a sport, so here is your chance.
Regardless of your gym affiliation, sanctioning body preference, or even combat sports preference, I encourage you to submit your views/opinions on the proposed amendments in the survey put forward by the CSA.
Submissions due September 11.
