OUR NEW CHAMP!

Saturday 26th March, saw NSW’s first ever WBC Muaythai sanctioned event at the Grand Castle Hill, with 5 WBC green belts up for grabs!

PTJ’s own Mark Fowler fought a much more experienced local favourite in Cheyne Rees from Bulldog Gym in Castle Hill for the WBC Light Weight State Title.

After an explosive start from both fighters, Mark knuckled down and wore through the heavy hands of Rees and managed to use his superior clinch techniques and knees to win the extremly tough bout.

Congratulations Mark on a well earned win, and special thanks to Nathan, Rod, Art and the rest of the PTJ family for helping prepare and support Mark for such an important bout. More pictures from the night to be added to our facebook page here.

Stay tuned for some even more exciting news over the next few days on Mark’s next steps as we head over to Thailand on PTJ’s first annual Thai New Year tour!
